Shuttle Services

       Want to bike or hike the Greenbrier River Trail, but need a shuttle to return to your car? Free Spirit Adventures has a custom service at a reasonable rate. Free Spirit Adventures will drop you off or pick you up at a destination along the Greenbrier River Trail. We serve the entire 75 miles. A common trip includes vehicle drop off at Caldwell (the south end of the trail). Free Spirit Adventures transports you to Renick, Marlinton or Cass and you ride to Caldwell, arriving at your vehicle.

Bike Rentals

       We offer a fleet of mountain bikes to suit all shapes and sizes. Accessories such as child carrier seats, packs and racks can be added. Free Spirit Adventures provides each bike rental customer with a souvenir water bottle. Advance reservation for a bike is recommended, but not required.

       Free Spirit Adventures is locally owned and operated. We are a trusted resource for accommodations for our guests. If you would like for us to coordinate your accommodations, please let us know.

Guides

       "Service with a Smile" describe the guides at Free Spirit Adventures. Free Spirit Adventure guides give lots of smiles and are highly trained in safety. All guides are certified in CPR and First Aid, and each tour is accompanied by a certified lifeguard. Some of our guides are local folks who will flavor your experience with some "down home" West Virginia expressions.

       West Virginia is known for constant beauty. Take the slower pace and enjoy a morning or afternoon with one of our guides. Guide fees listed above.

Biking:
       Need a sag wagon, lunch drop-off, bikes-only shuttle? Free Spirit Adventures is happy to assist you with "your idea." Regardless of group size, Free Spirit Adventures is interested in assisting you. Just give us a call at 1-800-877-4749, describe what you need, and we'll try to accommodate you. Fees based on service.

Rafting, Caving and Shooting:
       Free Spirit Adventures is happy to book your reservation for rafting, shooting or caving excursions. These activities can be scheduled independently of your cycling plans. New River and Gauley River rafting trips by North American River Runners and other companies begin at $60, Savannah Lane Shooting Association offers first class firearms training and Lost World and Organ Cave are unique spelunking experiences.


Outdoor Cycle School

       Did you just buy a bike, but need to learn to ride it? Or have you been riding and want to improve your skills? Or have you been injured or ill and are trying to rehab and need a trainer that will work with you? The owners of Free Spirit Adventures, Alinda and Bobby, pride themselves in helping others accomplish goals. Alinda and Bobby will help you learn to train using a heart rate monitor. They are experts in Heart Zone Training. Bobby and Alinda work with all levels of riders.

LeMond RevMaster Indoor Cycle Workshops

       Free Spirit Adventures offers a unique indoor cycle opportunity. Instructor training for group cycling, often referred to as spinning, is available. Free Spirit Adventures is a site for Lemond Fitness RevMaster Instructor Certification. The 8 hour training offers ACE and AFAA continuing education credits.
